Mehreen earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During law school, she was on the Dean’s Honor List and served as Member and Vice President of the South Asian Law Students Association. She clerked for the 14th District Court of Appeals in Houston as well as a family law firm in Dallas.

Mehreen is licensed in both Illinois and Texas. After practicing for a few years in Texas, she moved to settle down in the Chicagoland area where she focuses her practice on real estate and business transactions, including commercial and residential conveyance and lease transactions, and business entity formation and corporate governance. Mehreen also has experience in and practices property tax assessment appeals, commercial litigation, estate planning and related probate matters.

As part of her community work, Mehreen has extensive training as a mediator and arbitrator and conducts local and national pro bono mediations and arbitrations in civil and matrimonial matters. She also volunteers her time with an Early Childhood Development Center and Ismaili Community Engaged in Responsible Volunteering.

Mehreen resides in the Northwest Suburbs with husband, Rishad and son, Ayaan; and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
